  • Pear slice, for garnish

Equipment

  • Highball Glass
  • Measuring Jigger
  • Stirrer or Bar Spoon

Instructions

Notes

Substitutes:

  • Pear Liqueur: If you don't have pear liqueur, you can use apple liqueur for a different but still fruity flavor. I've also tried using elderflower liqueur, which adds a floral note that pairs well with the soda water.
  • Prosecco: Any sparkling wine will be a good alternative, for a fancy touch use champagne.
  • Soda Water: You can substitute soda water with tonic water for a slightly bitter twist or use sparkling water if you prefer a milder taste.

Making it Non-Alcoholic:

  • Pear Liqueur Substitute: Use pear juice or pear nectar instead of pear liqueur. These options provide the same fruity essence without the alcohol.
  • Prosecco: Opt for a non-alcoholic sparkling wine or omit it completely.
  • Proceed As Usual: Use these non-alcoholic substitutes instead of the regular ingredients, follow the original steps, and enjoy a non-alcoholic version.

Making it Vegan:

  • Check Ingredients: Ensure that your pear liqueur, the prosecco, and soda water are vegan-friendly. Most are, but it's always good to check labels.
  • Proceed As Usual: Follow the original steps using vegan-friendly ingredients to enjoy a vegan Pear Spritz.
