Notes

Substitutes:

  • Hpnotiq Liqueur: If you don't have Hpnotiq, you can use a blue curaçao mixed with a bit of passion fruit liqueur or syrup for a similar color tropical flavor. I've also used Alizé Bleu Passion, which has a similar fruity profile. Just keep in mind that Hpnotiq is a very specific product and that the final flavor and color of the drink may be quite different from the original drink if you decide to use another product as a substitute.
  • Cognac: You can use any other brandy of your choice to make this cocktail. The original recipe calls for cognac as a way of pairing with the Hpnotiq liqueur, which is made using a cognac base, but feel free to experiment with other types of brandy. Applejack, for example, can be a good option if you’re looking for a fruitier twist on this cocktail.
  • Orange Bitters: If you’re out of orange bitters, you can use lemon bitters as a substitute or simply leave them out.

What is a Hulk drink made of – The ingredients

The formula for a Hulk drink calls for these ingredients:

  • Hpnotiq Liqueur: Hpnotiq is a vibrant, turquoise-colored liqueur that blends premium vodka, tropical fruit juices, and a hint of cognac. It adds a sweet and fruity flavor with a tropical twist, contributing to the cocktail’s striking color and refreshing taste.
  • Cognac: Cognac is a type of brandy made from distilled white wine, aged in oak barrels, and known for its rich, smooth flavor profile. It adds warmth and depth to the cocktail with notes of oak, vanilla, and spice.
  • Orange Bitters: Orange bitters are a concentrated blend of citrus and spice flavors, made from orange peel and various botanicals. Just a dash adds a subtle, aromatic bitterness to the cocktail, enhancing its overall complexity and balancing the sweetness of the other ingredients.
