  • Lemon slice or twist, for garnish, optional

Equipment

  • Highball Glass
  • Measuring Jigger
  • Stirrer or Bar Spoon

Instructions

  • Add Bitter Lemon Soda: Measure and pour 4 oz bitter lemon soda into the glass.
  • Stir Gently: Use a bar spoon to stir the ingredients gently.
  • Garnish: Place a lemon slice or twist into the glass for garnish.

Notes

Substitutes:

  • Gin: If you don't have Gin, try using vodka for a cleaner taste. I've also used tequila for a more adventurous twist.
  • Bitter Lemon Soda: If you can't find bitter lemon soda, mix tonic water with a splash of fresh lemon juice and a dash of simple syrup. It's not the same, but it works in a pinch.

Making it Non-Alcoholic:

  • Gin Substitute: Use a non-alcoholic gin substitute; these are available and reasonably mimic Gin's botanicals.
  • Proceed As Usual: Use the non-alcoholic gin substitute instead of regular Gin, follow the original steps, and enjoy a non-alcoholic version.

Making it Vegan:

  • Check Ingredients: Ensure your Gin and bitter lemon soda are vegan-friendly. Most gins are vegan, but some brands may use animal-derived fining agents.
