Notes

Substitutes:

  • Rosé Wine: If you don't have rosé, use white wine instead. The flavor profile will change slightly, but the spritz will still be delicious.
  • Aperol: Campari is a good alternative if you're out of Aperol. It's a bit more bitter but adds a nice complexity to the drink.

Making it Non-Alcoholic:

  • Rosé Wine Substitute: Use a non-alcoholic rosé; these are available and reasonably mimic rosé's fruity notes.
  • Aperol Substitute: Opt for a non-alcoholic aperitif or make a simple syrup infused with orange peel and a touch of non-alcoholic bitters.
  • Proceed As Usual: Use these non-alcoholic substitutes instead of the regular ingredients, follow the original steps, and enjoy a non-alcoholic version.

Making it Vegan:

  • Check Your Wine: Not all wines are vegan, as some use animal products in the fining process. Be sure to check that your rosé wine is certified vegan. If you're unsure, many online resources are available to help you find vegan wines.
  • Proceed As Usual: After ensuring your wine is vegan, follow the original steps to enjoy a delicious vegan Rosé Spritz.
