Ingredients
 

  • 3 oz Champagne
  • 1 oz pomegranate juice
  • Pomegranate seeds - for garnish, optional

Equipment

  • Champagne Flute
  • Measuring Jigger

Instructions

  • Chill Glass: Place your champagne flute in the refrigerator or fill it with ice and give it a quick stir to chill.
  • Add Pomegranate Juice: Pour 1 oz pomegranate juice into the chilled flute.
  • Add Champagne: Slowly pour 3 oz Champagne over the pomegranate juice.
  • Stir: Stir gently in order not to lose fizziness.
  • Garnish: Add a few pomegranate seeds to the glass for garnish.

  • Champagne: If you don't have champagne, use prosecco or sparkling wine. I've also used sparkling cider for a
  • Pomegranate Juice: Cranberry juice can be an alternative if you're out of pomegranate juice. It gives a similar tartness and color.

Making it Non-Alcoholic:

  • Champagne Substitute: Use non-alcoholic sparkling wine or sparkling water to maintain the fizz without alcohol.
  • Proceed As Usual: Replace champagne with your non-alcoholic choice and follow the original steps for a refreshing mocktail.

Making it Vegan:

  • Ensure Ingredients Are Vegan: Most champagnes are vegan but double-check labels to ensure no animal products are used in production. The rest of the ingredients are naturally vegan-friendly.
