Stirrer or Bar Spoon
Prep Glass: Fill your highball glass with ice cubes.
Add Pisco: Pour 2 oz Pisco over the ice.
Top with Soda Water: Add 4 oz soda water to the mix.
Stir Gently: Use a bar spoon to stir the ingredients gently.
Garnish: Place a lime wheel or wedge on the rim for garnish.
Substitutes:
- Pisco: If you don't have Pisco, try using a light rum for a different but enjoyable flavor. I've also used tequila in a pinch, which adds an interesting twist.
- Soda Water: You can use tonic water for a slightly bitter edge or sparkling water if you prefer a milder taste.
Making it Non-Alcoholic:
- Pisco Substitute: Use a non-alcoholic spirit that mimics Pisco's fruity notes; these are available and work well in cocktails.
- Proceed As Usual: Replace Pisco with the non-alcoholic substitute and follow the original steps to enjoy a non-alcoholic version.
