Stirrer or Bar Spoon
Prep Glass: Fill your Highball glass with ice cubes.
Add Peach Liqueur: Pour 2 oz peach liqueur over the ice.
Add Soda Water or Ginger Ale: Pour approx. 4 oz soda water or ginger ale into the glass.
Stir Gently: Use a bar spoon to stir the ingredients gently.
Garnish: Place a peach slice or mint sprig into the glass for garnish.
Substitutes:
- Peach Liqueur: If you don't have peach liqueur, you can use Apple liqueur for a different fruity flavor. I've also tried using apricot brandy, which adds a slightly different but delightful twist.
- Soda Water or Ginger Ale: You can substitute soda water with tonic water for a more bitter edge. If you prefer something sweeter, try lemon-lime soda instead of ginger ale.
Making it Non-Alcoholic:
- Peach Liqueur Substitute: Use a non-alcoholic peach syrup; these are available and do a good job mimicking the sweet peach flavor.
- Proceed As Usual: Use this non-alcoholic substitute instead of the regular peach liqueur, follow the original steps, and enjoy a non-alcoholic version.
Making it Vegan:
- Check Ingredients: Ensure that your peach liqueur, soda water, or ginger ale are vegan-friendly. Most are, but it's always good to check labels.
- Proceed As Usual: Follow the original steps using vegan-friendly ingredients to enjoy a vegan Peach Highball.
