Notes

Substitutes:

  • Vodka: Gin makes a great alternative if you're out of vodka. I've tried it, and it adds a botanical twist to the drink.
  • Lychee Juice: No lychee juice? You can use peach or pear nectar. It won't be the same, but it's still delicious.

Making a Pitcher of Lychee Martini:

  • Scale: To serve 8, multiply all the ingredients by 8. You'll need 12 oz of vodka, 8 oz of lychee juice, and 4 oz of Triple Sec.
  • Mix: In a large pitcher, combine the vodka, lychee juice, and Triple Sec. Stir well.
  • Serve: Pour the mixture into individual chilled Martini glasses, garnish with lychee fruit, and serve immediately.

Making it Non-Alcoholic:

  • Vodka and vermouth Substitute: Use a non-alcoholic option available in the market.
  • Lychee liqueur: use a lychee puree or add a touch of simple syrup.
  • Proceed As Usual: Use these non-alcoholic substitutes and follow the original steps for a non-alcoholic version.

Making it Vegan:

  • Check Ingredients: Most of the ingredients in the cocktail are already vegan. However, always check the labels to ensure no animal products or by-products are present.
  • Garnish: Use organic lychee fruit for garnish to ensure it's free from non-vegan pesticides.
