- Ice cubes
- Lemon zest - for garnish

- Add Lemon Juice: Add ¾ oz fresh lemon juice.
- Add Butterscotch Schnapps: Add ½ oz Butterscotch Schnapps.
- Add Limoncello: Measure and pour ¾ oz Limoncello into the shaker as well.

Notes
Substitutes:
- Vanilla Vodka: If you don't have vanilla-flavored vodka, you can use regular vodka as a substitute.
- Limoncello: In place of limoncello, try using triple sec or another citrus liqueur for a similar zesty kick.
- Butterscotch Schnapps: Caramel or toffee liqueur works well without butterscotch schnapps; it adds a rich, sweet note.
- Vanilla Syrup: You can make your vanilla syrup by mixing equal parts sugar and water and adding vanilla extract.
- Fresh Lemon Juice: Bottled lemon juice can work in a pinch, but fresh is always best for that vibrant citrus flavor. Another option is to use fresh lime juice for a slightly different citrus kick.
Making a Pitcher of Bon Bon Drink:
- Scale: To make a pitcher that serves 8, multiply all the ingredients by 8. That would be 14 oz of vodka, 6 oz of limoncello, 6 oz of fresh lemon juice, 4 oz of butterscotch schnapps, and 1,5 oz of vanilla syrup.
- Mix: Combine all the ingredients in a large pitcher. Add a generous amount of ice cubes and stir well.
- Serve:
Making it Vegan:
The Bon Bon Drink is vegan-friendly if you ensure that your vanilla syrup is certified vegan (some syrups are made using sugar that has been processed over bone-char and is not vegan-friendly). If in doubt, always check labels or the brand’s website to confirm they meet vegan standards. What is a Bon Bon Drink?
